Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and strategic healthcare leader for the role of Administrative Director of Women & Children Services. This position will oversee high-acuity maternal and pediatric service lines including Labor & Delivery, NICU, Postpartum/Couplet Care, and Maternal/NICU designation teams.
The ideal candidate will possess strong operational leadership experience, deep clinical expertise within Women’s & Children’s Services, and the ability to drive quality outcomes, patient safety initiatives, staff development, and service line growth.
Departments Overseen- Labor & Delivery – 21 Beds
- NICU – 41 Beds (Level IV Designation Teams)
- Postpartum / Couplet Care – 34 Beds
- Maternal Level IV Designation Teams
- Approximately 2,800 annual deliveries
- Oversight of approximately 175 FTEs
- Direct management of 3 department managers
- Provide operational and strategic leadership for Women & Children Services departments
- Lead and mentor nursing leadership teams and department managers
- Foster collaborative physician and interdisciplinary relationships
- Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and designation standards
- Drive quality improvement, patient safety, and patient experience initiatives
- Oversee staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and departmental productivity
- Support service line growth and organizational strategic initiatives
- Promote employee engagement, education, and leadership development
- Participate in hospital committees, community outreach, and performance improvement programs
Required Qualifications
Education- BSN required
- Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field required
- Active Texas RN License or Compact RN License required
- National Specialty Certification required
- AHA BLS Certification required
- Minimum 10+ years of recent nursing experience within Women & Children Services including:
- Labor & Delivery
- NICU
- PICU
- Pediatrics
- Women’s Services
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience required
