Job Title: GEOINT Analyst Job Category: Intelligence Time Type: Full time Minimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI Employee Type: Regular Percentage of Travel Required: Up to 10% Type of Travel: Local * * * The Opportunity: As a CACI Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Analyst, you will directly support Task Force 40-25 to support 1st Special Forces Command (1SFC) and US Army Special Operations Command (USASOC), Geographic Combatant Commands (GCCs), the Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs) and other Strategic Partners across the Special Operations Forces Emerging Threat, Operations and Planning Support (SOFETOPS) enterprise.
You will provide expert-level GEOINT analysis to enhance strategic/threat analysis, operational planning, and decision-making within a multi-domain cell. You will apply advanced geospatial analytical methods to produce datasets, visualizations, and intelligence overlays that support intelligence research, analysis, and reporting, while developing new solutions, processes, and standards to address operational challenges.Your responsibilities include coordinating with interagency GEOINT partners and operational consumers to incorporate national-level data that predicts adversarial intent, capabilities, vulnerabilities, and threat courses of action (COAs), as well as producing operations-intelligence fusion products.
You will lead GEOINT analysis efforts to exploit geospatial data into complex graphics, reports, and briefings, creating products such as shape files, geo-databases, .kml files, and .kmz files for use with ArcGIS, Google Earth, and other geospatial tools.
Additionally, you will supervise and mentor junior GEOINT analysts to develop their geospatial production skills and analytical tradecraft, while collaborating with multi-domain analysts and planners to integrate GEOINT into strategic/threat analysis and operational frameworks.
Responsibilities: Other duties include but are not limited to: * Provides specialized senior-level expertise in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) analysis to retrieve, produce, and exploit standard and non-standard Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) products to support the SOFETOPS mission.
- Identifies current threat vulnerabilities and characterizes emerging threats to the government while providing recommendations for countering current and future associated threats.
- Queries, assesses, integrates, manipulates, exploits, extracts, and analyzes digital data and imagery (full spectrum literal and non-literal), both geospatial and research databases, and various ancillary sources.
- Completes data analysis and evaluation, geospatial data reformat and conversion, and photo interpretation.
- Interacts with professional colleagues to communicate research mission, issues, and geospatial requirements.
- Downloads web-based data and prepare/process for exploitation.
- Performs intelligence analysis on multiple sources of data, including Electro-Optical (EO), Spectral, Thermal Infrared (TIR), Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI), Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), and map-based software.
- Performs data fusion by combining various types of data (EO, TIR, SAR, etc.) to create a product with an increased level of understanding of the adversary area than can be achieved with a single data source.
- Translates GEOINT requirements into appropriate requests for imagery or queries using all available imaging sensors or GEOINT data bases.
- Performs application engineering development; processes digital imagery; customizes product generation; researches and gathers information; performs customer information analysis.
- Conducts analysis of R&D process and organizations associated with target GEOINT systems.
- Collaborates other embedded intelligence analysts to enrich and complement analytical understanding and intelligence production efforts.
- Collaborates and coordinates products within DoD and IC agencies and organizations throughout the S&TI Enterprise.
- Provides digital and analog analysis support, analyzing commercial devices to help determine how they are functioning or are meant to be functioning, which aids in their characterization. Qualifications: Required: * Current Top Secret/Specialized Compartmented Information Security Clearance.
- Minimum of four (4) years' current experience in GEOINT, Remote Sensing, Cartography, Geography, or related field Analysis experience with the following MOS 35G, 350G, USCM 0261, 0241, AF 1N1X, 14N3, OR other DoD or Government agency equivalent.
- A minimum of three years' experience in operations coordination roles of responsibility within an O-5 or above tactical, operational, or strategic-level command or while supporting a DoD contract of similar size and scope.
- Experience fusing GEOINT analysis and production into operational relevance.
- Excellent written communication, research, and analytic skills.
- Excellent oral communication skills for presenting, briefing, or communicating analytical research material including the use of multimedia presentations.
- Proficient ability to manage, research, and coordinate for projects. Desired: * Experience supporting USASOC or Joint SOF organizations. * A bachelor's degree and three years (3) of experience, an associate degree and seven (7) years of experience, or nine (9) years of relevant work experience.
- Must work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment. * Expert knowledge of Army structure and defense level intelligence operations: intelligence, collection, fusion, analysis, production, dissemination for intelligence databases and products
- Specialized training from any intelligence collection and analysis school or certification
- Proficient knowledge of state-of-the-art intelligence analysis tools
- Knowledge and experience in GEOINT production operations
- Experience writing analytic products following IC directives and guidance
- Detailed understanding of the various GEOINT phenomenology's and collection operations

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $78,000
