Role Overview

The Senior Accountant supports financial reporting, inventory accounting, and operational finance activities within a manufacturing environment.

This role works cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to ensure accurate reporting and support ongoing process improvements.

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
• Support month-end close and financial reporting
• Assist with inventory accounting and cost tracking
• Perform variance analysis related to manufacturing operations
• Support internal and external audits
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal controls
• Partner with operations to understand production and cost drivers
• Identify and implement process improvements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–6+ years of experience (public + industry preferred)
• Manufacturing or inventory accounting experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of GAAP
• ERP system experience
• CPA or CPA track preferred

• Complex manufacturing: composites, molding, machining, assembly
• Aerospace customers = tight deadlines + compliance pressure
