Responsibilities- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial electrical equipment and machinery.
- Install, inspect, and replace electrical components, motors, sensors, relays, and control panels.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using testing equipment and schematics.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Maintain PLC-controlled equipment and assist with programming changes when necessary.
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and company safety procedures.
- Document maintenance activities using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
