🩺 Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician responsible for the decontamination, assembly, sterilization, and tracking of surgical instruments. This role ensures all instruments meet strict safety, quality, and infection control standards.

• Decontaminate, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment
• Assemble and package instrument trays according to standards
• Operate washers, autoclaves, and sterilization equipment
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and damage
• Track instruments and document sterilization cycles accurately
• Maintain inventory levels and report missing/damaged items
• Follow all ANSI/AAMI standards and IFUs
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant
• Communicate with operations and distribution teams

• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience
• Knowledge of:
• Decontamination, assembly, and sterilization processes
• Surgical instruments and trays
• Infection control practices
• Experience with sterilization equipment (autoclaves, washers)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs
• Basic computer skills for tracking and documentation

• CRCST or equivalent required

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term growth
