Senior Mechanical Engineer - Secure Facilities with Security Clearance

Qualified candidates will have demonstrated success leading R&D programs from early concept through prototyping and manufacturing. These capabilities will directly support the unique engineering challenges Cencore faces in building secure enclosures and SCIF environments.

• Design, Engineer and Prototype secure enclosures and SCIFs that meet or exceed ICD705 requirements and standards.
• Develop and implement solutions for RF energy and STC sound attenuation to ensure the security and confidentiality of information.
• Create detailed technical drawings and CAD models to guide the construction and implementation of secure facilities.
• Design and integrate HVAC, electrical, and security systems into SCIF buildings based on project-specific requirements, performance criteria, and load calculations.
• Deliver manufacturable, stakeholder-aligned solutions by rapidly proving design concepts and driving them to full manufacturing readiness.
• Conduct site assessments and provide recommendations for enhancements or modifications to existing secure enclosures and SCIFs.
• Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable SCIF and secure facility design standards, with an expectation to rapidly come up to speed on required guidelines and best practices.
• Provide technical expertise and support during the construction and commissioning phases of projects.
