Job Description
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to determine project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to gather necessary information.
  • Assist in preparing and submitting project bids to clients.
  • Maintain and update cost databases and historical cost data for future reference.
  • Support the team in identifying potential cost-saving opportunities and value engineering solutions.
  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
  • Ensure estimates align with the company's standards and client expectations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Construction Junior Estimator should have:

  • Related bachelor's degree-accounting, finance, construction management, engineering
  • A strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Proficiency with estimating software and tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
