QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a FLOAT Medical Assistant position supporting 15+ QualDerm clinic locations across Illinois and Indiana. This role requires consistent travel between clinics and is not tied to a single office location. Candidates must be comfortable working in different clinics on a regular basis and adapting quickly to new teams and environments.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a high-performing clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly flexible, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment where travel is a core part of the role.
Key Responsibilites- Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and documenting medical history
- Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready
- Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the EHR system
- Support both clinical and administrative functions as needed across locations
- Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices
- Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred
- Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting required
- Dermatology experience strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology-specific practices
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
- High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software

Compensation Range: $19.50 - $27.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
