Registration Assistant – Event
Position Type: Short-Term / Event-Based Assignment
Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour
Event Dates: May 27 – June 18
Event Location: Tampa Convention Center
Position Overview:We are seeking organized and detail-oriented individuals to support event operations as Registration Assistants. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth and professional check-in experience for all participants.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow step-by-step processes accurately
- Ability to read, write, and alphabetize in English
- Professional communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify participant identification against registration records using Microsoft Excel or Smartsheet
- Distribute event materials, including name badges, welcome packets, and supplies
- Provide professional and courteous assistance to event participants
- Accurately track and report time worked daily
- Support additional administrative and event-related tasks as assigned
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to start as early as 6:30 AM and work late evenings (up to 9:00 PM) on select days
- Flexibility to work a non-standard schedule based on event needs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the day
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required

Pay Details: $15.00 per hour
