Job Description
As an Assistant Project Manager - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting Project Managers throughout all phases of project delivery
- Assisting with project budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
- Managing RFIs, submittals, and change order logs
- Coordinating architects, designers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Assisting with procurement and contract administration
- Maintaining project schedules and milestone updates
- Tracking project documentation and reporting requirements
- Supporting field teams and Superintendents with project coordination
- Assisting with custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finish packages
- Coordinating co-op and condominium board requirements
- Participating in project meetings and preparing meeting minutes
- Supporting project closeout and punch-list completion

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 2-5 years of experience in Project Engineering, Project Coordination, or Assistant Project Management
- Experience supporting high-end residential interior renovation projects
- Exposure to brownstones, penthouses, duplexes, co-ops, townhouses, or luxury apartments
- Knowledge of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finishes
- Understanding of RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project controls
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and related construction software
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
- Competitive base salary: $70,000 - $110,000+
