Quality Control Inspector
Local company in White, GA is looking for an experienced Quality control inspector to join their team. Requirements include, High School Diploma or equivalent, 2+ years of experience in Quality Control, manufacturing, or a related field, Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications, Knowledge of basic inspection tools and quality equipment, including calibration requirements, Working knowledge of 5S/6S and OSHA safety standards, Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities- Inspect incoming materials, in‑process components, and finished products to ensure conformance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols (AWS & ISO standards)
- Perform dimensional checks using variable and attribute measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, tape measures, angle finders)
- Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) for new or revised products
- Document inspection results, complete QC checklists, and upload records into the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Support Quality Engineers, Team Leads, and Supervisors with quality‑related activities and investigations
- Identify non‑conformances, adopt an investigative mindset to detect anomalies, and report issues promptly
- Assist with training newly hired QC Inspectors as needed
