Position Overview
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to join a fast-paced acute care hospital for a night shift assignment. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic radiographic procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, and comfortable working independently in an overnight setting.
Key Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures as ordered by physicians
- Ensure accurate patient positioning and proper imaging techniques
- Maintain radiation safety standards for patients and staff
- Operate and maintain radiographic imaging equipment
- Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy prior to submission
- Provide patient care, education, and support throughout procedures
- Document procedures accurately in the electronic medical record system
- Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance issues as needed
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Strong knowledge of radiographic imaging techniques and patient positioning
- Ability to work independently in a night shift environment
- Acute care experience preferred
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field – Required
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) – Required
- Active Oregon State Radiologic License – Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required
