Production Operator / Manufacturing Associate
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operator / Manufacturing Associate to support daily manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for operating equipment, maintaining production flow, ensuring product quality, and adhering to safety and operational standards.The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Production Operations- Execute tasks associated with manufacturing processes in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Operate, monitor, and maintain production equipment and facilities.
- Assist with machine operation and packaging as needed.
- Quality Control
- Monitor product quality throughout the production process.
- Perform routine inspections to detect defects or deviations.
- Report quality concerns and assist with troubleshooting to maintain product standards.
- Production Efficiency
- Ensure smooth operation of machinery to maintain consistent workflow.
- Adjust machine settings and perform minor repairs or adjustments as needed.
- Maximize productivity while minimizing downtime.
- Material Handling
- Safely handle raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Load, unload, and transport materials within the production area following procedures.
- Safety Compliance
- Follow all safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Immediately report hazards, incidents, or unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate production records, including:
- Production counts
- Machine logs
- Quality inspections
- Report production metrics and issues to supervisors as required.
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with team members and cross-functional departments.
- Communicate effectively to resolve production issues and support workflow.
- Continuous Improvement
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
- Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Support standardization and best practice implementation.
Qualifications
Education- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- English required.
- Spanish is a plus.
Experience (At least one of the following required):
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing warehouses, production assembly or production machine operation
- Experience operating production machinery or tools.
- Forklift certification a plus but not required
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude.
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.
- Manufacturing/production floor setting.
- Standing for extended periods, lifting, and operating machinery may be required.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $21.00 per hour
