About Our Client

Our client is a well‑established and growing general contractor with a strong reputation for delivering complex ground‑up projects throughout NYC. They specialize in mid‑rise and high‑rise residential, mixed‑use, and commercial developments and are known for investing in their people and long‑term project pipeline.

Job Description
  • Oversee all on‑site construction activities for ground‑up projects from excavation through turnover
  • Manage subcontractors, schedules, daily logs, inspections, and site safety
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers, engineers, inspectors, and design teams
  • Enforce quality control, building codes, and safety standards (OSHA & DOB compliance)
  • Resolve field issues proactively to maintain schedule and budget
  • Lead site meetings and act as the primary on‑site authority

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have:

  • experience as a Construction Superintendent with proven ground‑up project delivery
  • Strong background in NYC construction, including DOB processes and union trades
  • Experience on residential, mixed‑use, or commercial projects valued
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • OSHA 30 certification (required)
