Job Overview:
An MRI Technologist operates MRI equipment to capture detailed images of the body for diagnostic purposes. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while following physician instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans as per physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for imaging
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Ensure safety protocols (screening for metal, implants, etc.)
- Maintain imaging equipment and records
- Work with radiologists for accurate diagnosis
Requirements:
- ARRT (MRI) Certification
- NY State license (if required)
- BLS (AHA)
- Experience with MRI equipment
- Knowledge of anatomy and imaging protocols
