Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Sub-Acute / Long-Term Care

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patients in a Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care (SAR/LTC) setting. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, ensuring comfort, safety, and dignity for all residents.

• Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and bed making
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Measure and record vital signs; promptly report abnormalities
• Perform glucose monitoring and assist with specimen collection (urine, stool, sputum)
• Track and document intake/output and daily weights
• Respond quickly and effectively to call lights and patient needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment
• Serve as a patient sitter when required
• Observe, document, and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Deliver culturally competent care tailored to individual patient needs
• Communicate professionally with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• Active New Jersey CNA License (required)
• Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Minimum 2–3 years of CNA experience required
• Mandatory experience in Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care (SAR/LTC)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
