Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a special procedures unit at a 244-bed hospital in Charlotte, NC, requiring at least 2 years of IR experience and proficiency with Siemens, SonoSite, and Epic.
Details- Work in an Interventional Radiology department at a 244-bed acute care hospital in Charlotte, NC
- Department serves ED, inpatient, observation, and outpatient patient populations
- Department performs an average of 8 procedures per day, including vascular access, embolization, arterial, and 3D procedures; anesthesia cases performed as needed
- EMR: Epic (with Epic Radiant RIS); PACS: Philips iSite
- Equipment includes Siemens Icono Suite, IVUS, SonoSite ultrasound, and Bayer/Medrad power injector
- Monday–Friday day shift, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts at 40 hours per week
- No call, no weekend rotation, and no floating required
- Minimum of 2 years of IR Technologist experience required
- Completion of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technologist Program or an accredited Radiology Interventional Program
- ARRT registry and BLS certification required
- Experience with vascular access, embolization, arterial, and 3D procedures
- Proficiency with Siemens equipment, SonoSite ultrasound, and Epic EMR
- Active license required if applicable
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
- Minimum of 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates who have worked a permanent position at any Advocate Health Southeast facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered
- Orientation includes 1 day of administrative onboarding (Epic, eLearnings, policy review) and up to 1 week of departmental orientation as needed
- Department is supported by Radiology Nursing and Guest Services/Transport for inpatient and observation patients
- Hospital greens (scrubs) are provided
- Parking is available at no cost via surface lot and parking decks
- RTO is subject to manager approval
