Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab position at a hospital-based acute rehab unit in Texas, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a TX or compact RN license.
Details- 15-bed inpatient acute rehab unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
- 13-week contract
- Active TX or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Inpatient rehab experience preferred
- Current BLS certification required (AHA-issued)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and US home address
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Skills checklist required for consideration
- Responsibilities include direct patient care, implementing care plans, and coordinating discharge needs
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position
- Local candidates are accepted, though a radius rule applies — travel pay eligibility may vary based on distance from the facility
