Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist Registered (RT PEDS) in Crown Point, Indiana. This position involves providing respiratory care to pediatric and general patient populations on a dedicated unit. The role requires an experienced professional capable of managing complex respiratory treatments and equipment in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Job Details- Schedule: Night shift; 12 hours per shift; minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT), active Indiana license, BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications, and 0 years of relevant experience
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in pediatric, intensive care unit (ICU), or emergency department (ED) settings
- Float: Float rotation may be required
- Additional Information: The candidate must be comfortable working in a unit characterized by a dynamic patient care environment, utilizing advanced respiratory equipment such as PB980, Servo U, V60, Airvo 2, Optiflow JR, Metaneb, and Volera. They may need to complete education modules prior to the first day of work.
