Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid in assignment state)
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience; 2+ years preferred
- Critical care experience required — experience in LTAC, step-down, or ICU preferred
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission for LTAC patients
- Develop individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely in the medical record
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and initiate discharge planning from admission
- Educate patients and families regarding healthcare needs and discharge planning
- Communicate changes in patient status to the care team to ensure continuity and patient safety
- Supervise and provide direction to ancillary nursing personnel and support staff
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital policies and safety procedures
- Contribute positively to unit team building and maintain a supportive work environment
- Identify and pursue professional growth opportunities relevant to LTAC and critical care nursing
