Job Summary: Prepares patient for EEG exam, applies electrodes to patient's head, operates and maintains appropriate equipment, identifies tracing, prepares records.

Skills:Required Skills & Experience: -One (1) year of EEG Technologist experience.
1 year EEG Technologist experience.
Education:
Required Education:- High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State’s Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization, AND
- One (1) year of experience as an Electroencephalograph Technician in a hospital or health care setting.
- Satisfactory equivalent combination of education, training and experience, where Certificate of Completion from the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) recognized training program.
- Graduate from Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited program may be substituted for one (1) year of experience, as described in #1 above.
Required Certifications & Licensure: -Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA).
High School Diploma/GED or EEG Certification required. BLS preferred.
Shift: 2 12-hour shifts and an 11-hour shift
