Electrical Power Engineer
Industry leader seeks an Electrical Engineer with industrial power distribution experience. You should have power distribution experience from a heavy industrial setting, as well as CAPEX and at least some automation experience. responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and improvement of electrical power systems
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
- Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Understanding of power distribution, control systems, and electrical safety standards to ensure reliable and efficient operation of all electrical equipment.
- Assist with education and training of plant electrical personnel, coordinate corrective actions and best practices, and communicate with other divisions on electrical power-related issues.
requirements:
- BS Electrical Engineering, BSEET, or similar
- Industrial power distribution experience required, no exceptions
- Experience from a heavy industrial setting strongly desired (primary production of: steel, aluminum, pulp/paper, chemical, plastic)
- PLC and other industrial automation experience desired
