Job Description
Our Assistant Project Manager will:
- Assist in managing light industrial and warehouse construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Support subcontractor buyout, scope review, and contract administration
- Manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, and project documentation
- Coordinate with Superintendents and subcontractors to maintain aggressive project schedules
- Assist with budget tracking, cost reporting, forecasting, and change order management
- Help coordinate site logistics, materials, and vendor communication
- Maintain organized project logs and ensure timely communication across all stakeholders
- Support problem-solving efforts to keep projects aligned with schedule and budget
- Assist in maintaining compliance with safety standards and job site protocols

The Successful Applicant
The ideal Assistant Project Manager will have:
- 2-5 years of experience in construction with a General Contractor
- Exposure to light industrial, warehouse, or distribution projects preferred
- Understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and documentation
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, or similar tools
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
- Desire to grow into a Project Manager role
