Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Technician (SPT) to support sterile processing and operating room services in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures, instrumentation, sterilization techniques, and infection-control standards.
Requirements- 2 years of prior CSPD or ORT experience strongly preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Current CRCST certification through the Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) or certification through the Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) required.
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing procedures and standards.
- Ability to properly clean, decontaminate, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to infection-control and patient-safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
- Flexibility to work night shifts.
