In this role, you will monitor and manage system resources, including CPU usage, disk usage, and response times to maintain operating efficiency.
You will perform systems security administration functions, including creating user profiles and accounts.
Other duties may include setting up administrator accounts, maintaining system documentation, tuning system performance, installing system wide software and allocating mass storage space.
This role interacts with users and evaluates vendor products, making recommendations to purchase hardware and software, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.
In addition, this role oversees the development and monitoring of policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.

Duties and Responsibilities:- Provide subject matter expertise in support of assigned technical tasks and program objectives.
- Apply analytical skills to support process improvement efforts, specialized studies, and requirements development activities.
- Conduct analysis and planning activities to support the development of requirements, functional models, system procedures, and functional architectures, as well as other related technical and management deliverables.
- Support deployments of the JCO system on the JCC2 AWS environment, if needed.
- Provide support for the timely deployment of hotfixes/patches when necessary.
- A DoD TS/SCI clearance is required.
- IAT Level II
- 10+ years of IT systems administrative experience with both Microsoft and Linux platforms, with 2 years proficient understanding of maintenance (patching, STIG, and upgrade processes) on AWS cloud infrastructure.
- AWS Solutions Architect certification.
- AWS SysOps Administrator certification.
- Red Hat certification.
- Demonstrated experience and/or training in system administration and development best practices in AWS development.
- Demonstrated experience with security and compliance of DoW Gov.
Cloud hosted infrastructure.
Education:- Bachelor's degree in related field required.
