Senior Project Manager

Kforce has a client in Fremont, CA that is seeking a Construction Project Manager who will be playing a critical role in factory buildout, upgrading, maintaining operations, and optimizing systems for the most exciting company in the world. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining budgets and schedules.

• Takes ownership of assigned projects and scopes, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction, opportunities, and cost savings
• Evaluates bidding, material buyouts, and negotiating opportunities for potential and assigned projects
• Maintains effective communication with personnel, including QC, QA, CX, and Facilities
• Completes project startup procedures, including but not limited to: Making projections, budgeting, and performing job cost entry for materials, labor, equipment, and subcontracts
• Prepares major purchase orders while following appropriate pricing and scope evaluations
• Reviews project plans, P&ID's, single-line diagrams, and loop diagrams to account for all material and hardware
• Manages projects according specifications, procedures, and policies

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience
• 3-5 years of Project Management in commercial construction, large scale projects
• Experience with MEP scopes and projects (mechanical, electrical, plumbing)
• Experience working at a large (general contractor) is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Executive Reporting experience and knowledge
• Effective reasoning and judgment skills
• Proficiency with or ability to learn how to use Primavera, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Suite, accounting software, estimating software, and other required systems and software
• Ability to read and interpret all contract documents, plans, specifications, and requirements

Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
