Medical Assistant - Pediatrics
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Medical Assistant (Bilingual English/Spanish) to join our Pediatrics Division at El Nuevo San Juan (ENSJ).
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma required.
Medical Assistant Certificate or completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required.- 2 years of related experience in the healthcare sector.
Bilingual English/Spanish is required.
Flexible work scheduleProficiency with computers and software.

Key Duties: Prepares examination rooms, stocks inventory, and prepares patient for providers.
Engages in patient template management.Obtains vital signs, chief complaint, and medical history and accurately records in medical records.
Assists providers during all aspects of exams, treatments, and ambulatory proceduresRegisters and verifies patient demographics. Provides front-desk support as needed.
Maintains room logs.
Prepares pediatrics forms for provider completion.
Schedules appointments and recalls patients for required services.
Starting Compensation: Minimum: $23.00/hour ; Maximum: $23.00/hour

Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule: Onsite in the Bronx, NY. Monday through Friday 9am-6pm with alternating Saturday shifts with a day off during the week.
