Front End Developer (Senior) – San Antonio, TX or Ft Meade, MD
EXPERIENCE:
Provides subject matter proficiency for work described in the task. Responsible for providing analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements. Typical duties include analysis, planning, developing requirements documents, building functional models, developing procedures, developing functional architectures, and other related management and technical duties.Requires expertise in specialty areas. Performs engineering tasks for front-end design and development efforts including, but not limited to, creating technical design drawings, mockups, wireframes, and other associated documentation for the JCC2 PMO and stakeholder review, planning and implementing modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs), constructing and optimizing various UI elements, optimizing system navigation practices and elements, and facilitating operator ease of use for user-facing feature development.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:
Required Skills:
- 10 years of experience in the functional area. A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- 5 years of relevant experience, experience leading complex DevSecOps programs with an emphasis on cloud, cyber and platform technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests and results to verify system operability and compliance with project standards and requirements.
- Demonstrated experience engaging in agile, user-centric application design, ensuring best-of-breed UI/UX standards.
- Demonstrated experience in generating system wireframes, mockups, etc. considering multiple user personas.
- 5 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
- 5 years of experience testing web-based applications.
- 5 years of experience leading software development programs/projects.
- Practical experience developing in a cloud environment.
- 5 years of experience with Jenkins and GitLab.
- 5 years of experience with at least five (5) of the following:
- Apache
- Ember
- Javascript
- Jaguar
- Java
- Cricket
- Node
Required Interpersonal Skills:
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
- Must be able to work under pressure and prioritize competing assignments with tight deadlines in environments with frequent interruptions.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment and drive to meet or exceed objectives.
- Be self-motivated, organized, and capable of proactively identifying, sourcing, and handling multiple initiatives at one given time to successful completion.
- Be a team player and willing to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
- Exposure to DoD customers, government contracting or regulated environments
- Experience using Agile Test-Driven development
- Experience integrating into DoW DevSecOps environments
- Demonstrated experience in utilizing UX design tool suites (e.g., Sketch, InVision)
- 5 years of experience with CI/CD software development
EDUCATION AND SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.
- 10 years of experience in the functional area.
- A Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be eligible or have an active TS/SCI (Desired) Secret required.
LOCATION AND SCHEDULE:
Location – JBSA-Lackland, TX or Fort Meade, MD
Schedule – Remote (Hybrid) No more than 50 miles from office.
