Description
American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist / Cardiac Sonographer with RDCS or RCS certification and 1-2 years of hospital echo experience.
Details- 145-bed community hospital setting
- Performs 10-15 echocardiograms per day, split between 2-3 technologists
- Adult patient population only
- Utilizes GE E90 and E95 ultrasound systems
- Performs intraprocedural TTE and TEE at bedside
- Robust echo department with 7-day per week coverage
- 4 shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday with every other weekend
- RDCS through ARDMS or RCS through CCI required; RDCS highly preferred
- 1-2 years of experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- TEE and probe processing experience strongly preferred
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- License required if applicable
- Navy blue scrubs provided by hospital
- Accepts local candidates within 60 miles at a reduced rate
- Two professional references or evaluations from the prior year in current discipline/specialty from a manager or above are required for consideration
