The role entails working within a busy cardiovascular operating room environment, performing essential duties alongside a team to support surgical procedures.Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day of employment.
Job Details:
- Location: Margate, Florida
- Shift: Days - 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Start Date: 06/22/2026
- Required Qualifications: Certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS). Candidates must have at least 2 years of current experience in an acute operating room setting. Proficiency in charting, multitasking, critical thinking, and maintaining an excellent bedside manner are essential.
- Preferred Qualifications: Ability to scrub and be proficient in all service lines, including any surgical specialties other than cardiovascular operating room procedures involving robotics, orthopedics, spine, and gynecology.
- Additional Information: On-call responsibilities are split and dependent on staffing levels. Rotating weekends may be required. The role involves supporting procedures such as joint replacements, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, vascular, podiatry, thoracic surgery, and plastic surgery.
- Responsibilities: Assist during surgeries, perform charting, multitask effectively, and provide high-quality patient care.
- Dress Code: OR scrubs provided by the unit.
