About the Role

The Construction Superintendent provides on-site leadership and coordination for all phases of commercial construction projects, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in tilt-wall construction. This role oversees field operations, subcontractor management, scheduling, safety, and quality control to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to exact specifications(link removed)>

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the master project schedule in coordination with the project team.
• Prepare detailed two-week look-ahead schedules to manage daily labor and tasks.
• Proactively schedule subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to meet project milestones.

• Lead preconstruction meetings to review scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring quality and schedule compliance.
• Issue non-compliance notices and resolve conflicts with senior leadership as needed.

• Collaborate with the Safety Department to create and enforce job-specific safety plans(link removed)>
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and maintain required safety documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite environment at all times.

• Oversee all quality assurance processes to confirm alignment with project drawings and approved submittals.
• Inspect and track materials, deliveries, and installations for accuracy.
• Maintain detailed daily logs and site photos for project reporting.

• Lead weekly subcontractor coordination meetings and provide updates to project management.
• Coordinate inspections with local jurisdictions and third-party agencies(link removed)>

• Train and mentor Assistant Superintendents, Field Engineers, and Laborers.
• Promote a collaborative work culture focused on safety, accountability, and craftsmanship(link removed)>
• Participate in quarterly Superintendent meetings for continued development.

• 7+ years of commercial construction experience as a Superintendent or similar leadership role.
• Tilt-wall project experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of all major construction trades and industry best practices.
• Proficiency with Procore, MS Project, MS Teams, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid Drivers License and ability to travel to project sites in the Raleigh area.
• Current OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications (or ability to obtain).
