Job Summary
Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Surgical Services OR Tech / Surgical Tech to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
Responsibilities- Assist in preparing the operating room and surgical instruments prior to procedures.
- Support the surgical team during operations by passing necessary tools and instruments.
- Ensure all surgical equipment is functioning correctly and prepared for use.
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent contamination and infection.
- Monitor and account for surgical instruments and supplies during procedures.
- Document procedures as per hospital and regulatory protocols.
- Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience as a CVOR CST.
- NBSTA and DORA Certifications required prior to submission.
- Must have Open Heart experience.
- Experience in Level I and trauma settings preferred.
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR system is advantageous.
