Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 - $2,550

- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
- Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM (4 days/week, 10-hour shifts)
- Employment Type: Travel Cath Lab Tech, Full Time
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- On Call Requirement: 10-12 days per month, including weekends
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist) or Board eligible
- New Mexico state licensure required
- BLS (AHA) required; ACLS (AHA) required
- At least 1 year of radiologic experience required
- 1 year of interventional or cath lab experience preferred (cardiac cath, PCI, angiography)
- Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment, cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology, and basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures (cardiac catheterization, angiography, PCI) according to department protocols
- Prepare and orient patients for cath lab procedures; ensure patient safety and comfort
- Provide clinical patient care while obtaining diagnostic-quality images for interpretation by Radiologist/Cardiologist
- Operate and maintain cath lab imaging equipment and monitors; follow manufacturer recommendations
- Ensure radiation protection for patients, staff, and self; adhere to radiation safety policies and ALARA principles
- Maintain accurate written and electronic documentation per hospital policy
- Maintain supplies, sterile field setup, and a clean, orderly work area
- Collaborate courteously with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff
- Provide coverage after hours on an on-call basis as required
- Perform Point of Care testing and basic lab procedures as needed
- Stay current with cardiovascular and interventional technology through continuing education and in-service training
