Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer - New York, NY

Job Type: Contract – 8 Weeks

• $3,000 to $3,350 per week (based on experience)

• Day Shift – 5x8 Hours
• 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Monday–Saturday (Rotating Saturdays)
• No Holiday Requirement

• Cardiac Diagnostic Center – Ultrasound / Echocardiography

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Echo Tech / Cardiac Sonographer for a contract opportunity in a fast-paced cardiac diagnostic environment. The ideal candidate will have strong echocardiography experience, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and clinical staff.

• Perform high-quality echocardiographic and diagnostic ultrasound procedures
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process clearly
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment in accordance with department standards
• Accurately document findings and maintain patient records
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support patient care
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and infection control protocols

• Registered Cardiac Sonographer required
• ARDMS or CCI certification in appropriate clinical specialty required
• BLS Certification required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Two years of college preferred
• Minimum one year of Diagnostic Ultrasound experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills required
