Operations Assistant, Home Care Hospice

Fairview Range is hiring an Operations Assistant to join our Home Care and Hospice Team in Hibbing, MN.
The Operations Assistant will provide comprehensive clerical and organizational support to ensure the efficient functioning of the office's daily operations. Key responsibilities include effective communication management, operational task support for the team, and oversight of office supplies and filing systems.This role also involves professional visitor reception and performing administrative duties to enhance workplace productivity. In collaboration with the billing specialist, the position facilitates accurate billing processes and effectively coordinates scheduling for clinical staff to maximize service delivery.
Schedule: This position will work 64 hours per two weeks. The shift length may vary but will be day shifts. No weekends.Internal Posting: 5/4/26

As an Operations Assistant, you will:
- Clerical Support - general office duties may such as answering the phones, managing faxes and mail.
- File/scan and maintain records in patients' charts.
- Create admission packets.
- Assists with supply management.
- Demonstrate organizational skills.
- Collaborate and coordinates scheduling with supervisor, nursing, rehab, intake, provider and paraprofessional staff.
- Communicate staffing concerns to supervisor.
- Discuss patient plan of care with primary RN to determine scheduling needs for the patient. Advises RN of orientation needs of assigned staff.
- Establish and maintain scheduling needs of new clients and assigns clinical staff per provider order.
- Maximize use of resources in a cost-effective manner (i.e. mileage and travel time).
- Communicate all pertinent information to staff.
- Ensure all visits are reassigned to the most effective manner when needed.
- Communicate with patients/families regarding scheduling assignments.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 1-2 years of post-secondary education
- Experience in one area of health care related services
- Experience working in an office environment
- Experience with staffing and scheduling
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
Qualifications: $18.29- $25.81 Hourly
