Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse for a short-term contract assignment in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment. This role is ideal for candidates with strong clinical expertise in cardiovascular and endovascular procedures and prior experience working in large Level 1 trauma centers.

• Provide direct nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room during complex surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons during cardiovascular and endovascular operations, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for CVOR cases
• Collaborate with surgical teams including physicians, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking and efficiency
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (State of Georgia or Compact License)
• Minimum 2+ years of recent CVOR experience
• Prior travel nursing experience in a large Level 1 trauma facility (must be clearly reflected in work history)
• Strong experience in cardiovascular and endovascular procedures
• High competency ratings across all clinical skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
