Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in New London, Connecticut.

Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injury or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply and a recruiter will follow up with details.
Minimum Qualifications- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from an accredited educational program.
- Active Connecticut PTA license required to start the assignment.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from AHA or ARC required or must be obtained prior to start.
- Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
- Demonstrated competency with common skilled nursing tasks such as transfer training, gait training, therapeutic exercise, and documentation in an EMR system preferred.
- Ability to follow care plans established by a supervising Physical Therapist and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
