Position Overview
We are seeking a driven IT Business Analyst to support the analysis, design, implementation, and ongoing support of business applications. This role acts as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring technology solutions align with strategic objectives while improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering- Collaborate with stakeholders across business functions to understand needs and align technology solutions with business strategies
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams
- Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities and recommend solutions
- Support the design, development, and implementation of system enhancements and new applications
- Conduct cost-benefit and ROI analyses to support system and project decisions
- Contribute to delivering scalable, high-quality technical solutions that drive business value
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously as a contributing team member
- Assist with project planning, timelines, and deliverables to meet aggressive deadlines
- Serve as the primary liaison between business users and IT teams
- Troubleshoot system and process issues, identifying root causes and implementing solutions
- Support complex business processes and provide daily functional application support
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance system performance and operational efficiency
Qualifications
Required- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field
- 2-4 years of experience in business analysis or a related IT role
- Basic understanding of programming languages and ability to read/interpret code
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Experience with project management methodologies
- Proven ability to deliver business solutions that improve efficiency and competitive advantage
