Position Summary

A healthcare organization is seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Production Coordinator to oversee loaner and consignment tray operations while supporting daily sterile processing workflows. This role requires strong coordination, attention to detail, and the ability to manage high-volume instrument processing efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all incoming and outgoing loaner and consignment trays
• Verify accuracy, completeness, and integrity of tray contents before and after sterilization
• Coordinate with vendors, clinical teams, and sterile processing staff to ensure timely availability
• Track and document tray movement throughout the sterilization cycle

• Oversee daily sterile processing workflow and production priorities
• Identify and resolve delays, discrepancies, or workflow bottlenecks
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain operational efficiency
• Provide guidance and oversight to processing technicians as needed

• Act as a liaison between vendors, clinical teams, and internal staff
• Maintain clear communication regarding tray status, timelines, and special requests
• Support strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

• Ensure accurate data entry for tray tracking, sterilization records, and workflow metrics
• Generate reports on production volume, trends, and performance
• Maintain documentation standards in compliance with regulatory guidelines

• High School Diploma or GED required
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required
• 3–5 years of sterile processing experience (loaner/consignment experience preferred)
• Strong organizational and tracking skills
• Experience with instrument tracking systems and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment
