Registered Nurse – Pre Op | UCSF Health (Hyde St, San Francisco, CA)

Location: UCSF Health Hyde Street Campus

Job Overview:

• Pre-Op RN in Ambulatory Surgery (Same Day Surgery + Phase II Recovery)
• Patient Ratio: 1:3
• Charting: Epic
• Floating required across UCSF facilities

• Active California RN License
• AHA Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• 2+ years experience (with Pre-Admission Testing / Pre-Op Clinic required)
• Must have community hospital experience
• Comfortable with floating

• Pre-op assessments, education & medication administration
• EKG/ECG, IV starts, phlebotomy
• Airway assessment & sedation monitoring
• Discharge planning & follow-up calls
• Experience with Conscious Sedation, MAC & General Anesthesia
