Our growing client is seeking an experienced Construction Site Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial projects. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing crews, coordinating jobsite activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to high-quality standards.
The ideal candidate is a strong field leader with experience in specialized construction scopes, who can effectively manage people, equipment, and processes in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
Key Responsibilities for the role of Construction Site Superintendent include:
- Oversee all day-to-day jobsite operations, including crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials
- Lead and coordinate field teams to ensure work is completed efficiently and aligned with project scope and timelines
- Monitor installation activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and manufacturer or regulatory guidelines
- Enforce strict safety practices and maintain a culture of accountability on all jobsites
- Coordinate project sequencing, scheduling, and workflow to meet deadlines and production goals
- Track and report labor hours, production progress, material usage, and equipment utilization
- Oversee the use, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of jobsite tools and equipment
- Communicate effectively with project managers, general contractors, and clients to provide updates and resolve issues
- Train, mentor, and support field staff to maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards
- Identify and resolve jobsite challenges proactively to minimize delays and disruptions
- Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, reports, and records
