Description of Duties:
MuleSoft Architect with deep expertise in integration architecture and API-led connectivity. The ideal candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), driving design, development, and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.This role requires strong technical proficiency along with excellent stakeholder engagement skills, enabling effective collaboration with both business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of integration solutions using MuleSoft (Mule 4) and the Anypoint Platform
- Define and implement API-led connectivity strategies, including System, Process, and Experience APIs
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consultative guidance on integration best practices
- Ensure solutions follow best practices in security, scalability, performance, logging, and error handling
- Design and develop reusable integration frameworks and patterns
- Support and guide development teams with hands-on expertise when needed
- Drive integration with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, and ServiceNow
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup, deployment automation, and version control practices
- Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and governance processes
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Mule 4 and the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform
- Proven expertise in API-led architecture and integration design
- Advanced experience with DataWeave, REST APIs, and enterprise integration patterns
- Solid understanding of integration best practices including security, scalability, and performance optimization
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployment processes
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex environments
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in MuleSoft and integration architecture
- Able to work in a collaborative team environment to obtain the best results.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience integrating with enterprise systems such as Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or ServiceNow
- MuleSoft certifications (e.g., MuleSoft Certified Architect or Developer)
- Experience working in the public sector
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
