Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – Travel Assignment | Morristown, NJ
Radiology Technologist (Rad Tech) – Travel position in Morristown, NJ. ARRT certified, NJ RT license, BLS required. This 13-week travel radiology technologist opportunity places you in a state-of-the-art radiology department providing diagnostic imaging and X-ray services to patients in vibrant Morristown (07960).
Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,790 – $1,920

- Shift: 6p–7a, Rotating 7-week schedule
- Shift Duration: 12 hours

- Minimum 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician or Radiologic Technologist in a clinical setting
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school or program
- NJ State RT License (required)
- ARRT certification (Registered Radiologic Technologist)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Demonstrated knowledge of diagnostic imaging equipment, including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and preventative care
- Strong initiative, problem-solving, and analytical skills in clinical imaging
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures and X-rays in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
- Ensure patient safety, radiation protection (ALARA principles), and procedural comfort during imaging exams
- Maintain, calibrate, and assess imaging equipment for procedures; coordinate routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Coordinate daily imaging schedules and monitor need for procedure revisions to meet clinical demand
- Stay current with advances in radiology, diagnostic imaging, and healthcare informatics
- Provide clear documentation and communication of imaging results, protocols, and patient information
- Other duties as assigned to support the radiology department and clinical care
