My client is a privately-held construction firm known for delivering comprehensive building solutions and an exceptional client experience. With more than four decades of combined industry expertise driving its approach, they specialize in preconstruction, design‑build services, general contracting, and construction management for a diverse portfolio of education, commercial, and healthcare projects.

With all projects local to the Greater KC Area, they are looking for a talented Project Manager/Estimator with relationships in KC to join their growing team!

Job Description
  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects, including materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Coordinate project planning, scheduling, and execution to ensure timely delivery.
  • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to define project requirements and expectations.
  • Monitor project budgets and financial performance, addressing any variances proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout project execution.
  • Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to provide regular updates and resolve any project-related issues.
  • Analyze project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Support the business development team by contributing to proposals and bids for new projects.

The Successful Applicant
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in project management
  • Experience working on education, higher education, commercial, healthcare, or municipal construction projects.
  • Ability to run your projects from cradle to grave, including estimation
  • Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, market conditions, and subcontractor trades.
  • Proficiency in software and project management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
