RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment.$750 referral bonus available.

RN - Wound Care Inpatient
Job Details:
- Work Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on a 4/10 schedule
- Treat minimum 5-15 patients per day depending on new consults
- Work with 3-4 other RNs in the wound care role
- No weekend, holiday, call, or standby requirements
- Float to other facilities as needed, sometimes planned in advance
- Manage and coordinate patient care and wound management with consults and recommendations
- Handle ostomies, draining wounds, fistulas, pressure ulcers, vascular and arterial wounds, diabetic ulcerations
- Provide wound assessment, prevention education, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Complete documentation and billing, discharge planning for supplies
- Use phone for photo documentation and Smith and Nephew wound vacs
- Chart in EPIC system
- Required certifications: BLS, CWON (Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse), WCC via NAWCO, and Washington RN license
- No previous travel experience required
- BSN not required
- No specific scrub color preference
- Orientation provided to all hospitals with preceptor and documentation education
- Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment, 3 shifts for shorter assignments
