Job Description- Assist in managing all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Coordinate with owners, subcontractors, consultants, and government agencies (MTA/SCA)
- Support project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control activities
- Review and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation
- Ensure compliance with public agency regulations, safety protocols, and contractual requirements
- Participate in site meetings, progress reporting, and stakeholder communication
- Help monitor project milestones, risks, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records and support project reporting systems

The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Project Manager should have:
- 2-5+ years of experience in construction project management or project engineering
- Prior experience with MTA and/or NYC SCA projects is highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
- Strong understanding of public works procedures, documentation, and compliance standards
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with construction software (Procore, Primavera, MS Project, etc.)
