Job Description Strategic ACI is seeking a Contracting Specialist to support federal acquisition operations at a Department of the Air Force installation. In this role you will work directly alongside Air Force Contracting Officers at the Acquisition Management Integration Center (AMIC), executing cradle-to-grave contracting support across a diverse portfolio of defense acquisitions.
This is an on-site, full-time position requiring an active security clearance. Responsibilities: * Support pre-award acquisition activities including market research, acquisition planning, solicitation development, and proposal evaluation support.

- Prepare contract documentation including determinations and justifications, synopses, price negotiation memoranda, and cost/price analyses.
- Execute post-award contract administration including modifications, option exercises, invoice resolution in WAWF, and contract closeout.
- Maintain accurate, complete contract files in accordance with agency filing and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with Contracting Officers, CORs, program managers, and resource advisors to support timely contract execution.
- Provide advisory and analytical support to Government contracting officers and acquisition teams (does not perform inherently governmental functions).
- Bachelor's degree with focus in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Law, Economics, Public Administration, Managerial Administration or related business discipline.
- DAWIA Level II certification, Back to Basics Contracting Professional certification, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and applicable agency supplements, with the ability to apply current policies, updates, and guidance.
- Proficiency in contract writing and filing systems, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with Wide Area Workflow (WAWF), Contract Closeout Module, SharePoint, and Records Application Management (RMA) or similar federal Government procurement applications.
- Demonstrated experience in simplified acquisition of commercial items, fixed price contracts, contract closeout, and brand name justifications.
- Familiarity with FAR Parts 5, 6, 12, 13, 15, and 19…as applicable to commercial and simplified acquisitions.
