Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 3 years of experience and active ARRT(N) or CNMT/NMTCB certification for a 13-week travel assignment at an academic medical center in California.
Details- Academic medical center nuclear medicine department
- Facility conducts research PET scans using investigational ligands, with limited isotope availability on certain days and times
- 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- Variable start times between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM
- Schedule flexibility is required; no blocked or self-scheduling
- Minimum of 3 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
- At least 1 year of experience in an acute care setting
- At least 1 year of full-time equivalent experience in Nuclear Medicine within the past 2 years
- Active BLS certification required
- ARRT(N), CNMT, or NMTCB certification required
- Valid, active CA state license required — license required if applicable
- Cerner EMR experience required
- ARRT(R) and PET experience preferred
- Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 3 attempts)
- At least one supervisory or manager reference from the past year in the relevant specialty area required for consideration
- CT certification is not required for this position
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Local candidates are accepted
- No RTO requests within the first 2 weeks of the assignment; any RTO must be declared at time of submission and cannot be changed once submitted
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
