Staffing Supervisor
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Supervisor. In this role, you will lead a team committed to supporting those in need, ensuring that services are delivered effectively.
The Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, maintaining smooth workflows, and collaborating closely with management to meet organizational goals. This position also plays a key role in staff development, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for team members to grow and improve.
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our Corporate Office in Long Beach.
This is not a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Multisite/Region Staffing Oversite
- Oversee daily staffing activities and responsibilities to ensure quality and timely scheduling of caregivers and clients
- Develop, coordinate and implement high-level and efficient staffing solutions to ensure optimal coverage and quality across all office locations
- Direct coordinators to effectively match caregivers to clients based on skill set, preferences, availability and geographic location
- Monitor staffing metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements
- Provide guidance and support for escalated calls
- Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of staffing activities and system updates.
- Monitor service authorizations and utilization to ensure optimal use of authorized hours
- Collaborate with intake and recruiting teams to ensure timely initiation of services
- Contribute to efforts to maintain positive relationships with referral sources and payer partners
- Ensure adherence to department standards and best practices
- Communication & Relationship Management
- Oversee communication standards to ensure timely, professional interactions with clients and caregivers – provide coaching as needed
- Serve as an escalation point for complex scheduling conflicts, service issues or urgent client/family concerns
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Cambrian customers – clients, caregivers, referral sources, staff
- Support team members in resolving conflicts and service challenges effectively
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and caregiver engagement
- Represent the staffing department in Supervisor, CRC and all other assigned meetings – work collaboratively with other supervisors and departments to create effective workflows and lines of communication.
- Team Supervision & Performance Improvement
- Supervise, coach and support Staffing Coordinators to ensure high performance and accountability
- Provide ongoing training and support to team members
- Monitor team productivity and adherence to department standards
- Ensure staff adherence to agency policies, procedures, and performance expectations as instructed
- Foster a positive, collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment
- Assist with onboarding, scheduling, and workload management within the department
- Collaborate with Quality & Training department staff to identify areas for improvement in training and ongoing caregiver development
- Actively contribute to company goals as assigned to ensure best possible results.
- Provide relevant reporting as requested
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree in Healthcare Administration, Human Services, or a related field preferred; candidates with 2+ years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Strong organizational, multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Strong typing skills
- Ability to handle fast-paced, deadline driven environments
- Capable of handling high call volume
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of homecare/healthcare scheduling software preferred
- 2+ years supervisory experience in a high-volume home care or healthcare setting preferred
- Fluency in both English and Spanish
- 18+ years old
- US work authorization
- Ability to pass a background check and reference check

Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $29.50/Hr.
