IT Project Manager
- 3-5 year of IT project management experience in a mid-sized environment
- Proven ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, navigating competing priorities
- Experience with project management methodology and tracking tools
- Our customer is looking to hire an IT Project Manager to join their PMO.
- The right candidate should be about 3-5 years into their project management career, so they have managed technical projects before.
- Someone with project coordinator experience will not be the right fit, they need to have truly managed projects.
- This person will be assigned to projects across all different groups within the organization including infrastructure, networking, COTS software deployments, etc.
- Candidates will need to have extremely strong communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple teams involved in the execution of projects.
- They should be comfortable leading meetings with 20+ people.
- They will be using Microsoft PPM Sensei for tracking, but open to experience with other project tracking tools as long as they're open to learning.
- Most projects are within the waterfall methodology.
- Some of the external vendors they partner with are Agile so understanding Agile would be beneficial but not required.
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Novi, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $65.00/hr.
